The Nasarawa State Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development is making giant strides to streamline the activities & operations of Non-governmental Organizations (NGO) & Community Based Organizations (CBO) within the state so as to ensure that they are adequately registered and managed by the state government. This is expected to enable the State Government to setup partnerships in relevant programme areas in relation to they type of programmes and activities of various NGOs & CBOs within the state.
STEP-BY-STEP REGISTRATION PROCESS & ACCREDITATION REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS (NGOs)
Please Ensure that all necessary documents required for accrediting an NGO are available before you proceed with the accreditation process. These documents are; Electronic copy of CAC Certificate of Incorporation, Nasarawa State Cooperative Society Registration Certificate and NGO By-laws. All documents must be in PDF format and cannot be greater than 1MB in size. If you have all the aforementioned documents available, you can proceed with the registration process as follows:
- Create an account by clicking here.
- Click the activation link sent to your email to activate your account (Link will expire after 24hrs of in action).
- Login to your account here or by navigating to the "PORTAL" menu at the top of this page and using the credentials created in step (i) above.
- Complete the registration form and Upload all required documents.
- Walk into the Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development with original copies of uploaded documents for sighting & verification.
- Print accreditation acknowledgement receipt for your internal use and safekeeping (This option will be available within 10 to 20 working days after verification).
STEP-BY-STEP REGISTRATION PROCESS & ACCREDITATION REQUIREMENTS FOR COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS (CBOs)
Please Ensure that all necessary documents required for accrediting a CBO are available before you proceed with the accreditation process. These documents are; Electronic copy of CAC Certificate of Incorporation, Nasarawa State Cooperative Society Registration Certificate and CBO By-laws. All documents must be in PDF format and cannot be greater than 1MB in size. If you have all the aforementioned documents available, you can proceed with the registration process as follows:
- Pay the registration fee of ₦20,000.00 and collect a receipt at the Ministry. Then proceed with the creation of an online account in step (ii)
- Create an account by clicking here.
- Click the activation link sent to your email to activate your account (Link will expire after 24hrs of in action).
- Login to your account here or by navigating to the "PORTAL" menu at the top of this page and using the credentials created in step (ii) above.
- Complete the registration form and Upload all required documents including your receipt number.
- Walk into the Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development with original copies of uploaded documents for sighting & verification.
- Print accreditation acknowledgement receipt for your internal use and safekeeping (This option will be available within 10 to 20 working days after verification).
